The Arkansas Razorbacks face their toughest test so far this season as the No. 16 Razorbacks travel to Arlington, Texas to take on No. 7 Texas A&M on Saturday.
The Aggies have won the last nine meetings in the Southwest Classic and Arkansas looks to end that drought for the first time since 2011 behind their strong run game and hard-nosed defense.
Arkansas leads the Aggies 17-3 at halftime. After a 46-yard field goal by Cam Little, the Hogs found the endzone first on an 85-yard touchdown pass from KJ Jefferson to Treylon Burks in the first quarter to go up 10-0. And then AJ Green extended that lead with a 48-yard catch and run the Razorbacks second touchdown of the day.
Texas A&M has had trouble moving the ball all afternoon as Arkansas is putting Aggies’ quarterback Zach Calzada under pressure. The Razorbacks registered six quarterback hurries in the first half, including one sack by Tre Williams. But A&M did tack on a field goal with 21 seconds left in the second quarter.
