University of Arkansas Department of Intercollegiate Athletics today announced premier dining and hospitality partner Levy will serve fans across all sports starting with the 2017-18 season. Levy will create new dishes, menus, and concepts reflecting local flavors across concessions, premium dining, and catering operations at Razorback Athletics facilities, including Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, Bud Walton Arena and Baum Stadium.
“Razorback fans bring incomparable energy to the legendary game day experience, and our goal is to use that passion as inspiration for creating memorable dining experiences,” said Andy Lansing, President and CEO of Levy. “That means cultivating relationships across the local culinary community to woo fans at the stadium.”
Levy has mastered its signature marketplace approach to crafting outstanding dining experiences specific to a location’s trademark flavors. Levy chefs in Arkansas will develop menus showcasing ingredients and flavors of the Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas community. Levy will also redesign concession stands across facilities, bring in local restaurants and producers and craft refined Chef’s Table menus in suites. Through it all, Razorback Athletics and Levy will commit to sustainable hospitality: sourcing food responsibly from local vendors, creating a comprehensive recycling and composting program, and improving energy and water efficiency.
The partnership adds another blue chip athletics program in the southeast to Levy’s burgeoning collegiate portfolio. Levy handles food, beverage, and hospitality experiences for major programs across all power athletics conferences and sports, including The Ohio State University, Texas A&M University, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma, among others.
More details will come on new menus and dining experiences at Razorback Athletics facilities leading up to the 2017-18 athletic season.
