SEC Picks for Week 8 including Tulsa at Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - By Otis Kirk

This is the final time for Arkansas to step outside the SEC as Tulsa comes to Fayetteville for homecoming.

Last week was a rough week with the picks as I went 3-3. I missed my picks of Arkansas over Ole Miss, Auburn to top Tennessee and Georgia against LSU. For the season I am 46-9 and the picks are straight up and not against the spread.

Here's this week's picks.

Tulsa at Arkansas -- The Hogs are 1-2 outside the SEC and have lost six games in a row. Tulsa is on a five-game losing streak. Both teams won their season openers. The Pick: Arkansas

Alabama at Tennessee -- Yes, the Vols beat Auburn last week, but Alabama is different than Auburn. The Tide continues to roll over opponents with a trip to LSU coming up in two weeks. The Pick: Alabama

Auburn at Ole Miss -- The Rebels are coming off a victory over Arkansas and Auburn lost at home to Tennessee. This could be big game for Ole Miss. The Pick: Auburn

Vanderbilt at Kentucky -- The Wildcats are better than anyone outside of Lexington thought they would be this season. The Pick: Kentucky

Mississippi State at LSU -- This could be a tougher game for LSU than maybe some think. Mississippi State is a very good football team. The Pick: LSU

Memphis at Missouri -- Missouri also steps out of the SEC for the final time this season. Memphis isn't a pushover for anyone. They are talented team. The Pick: Missouri

Four SEC teams are off this week.
