Sixth-Ranked Arkansas sits atop the SEC in batting average at .306 entering its final homestand this season, looking to respond after back-to-back losses at LSU. Visiting Fayetteville is Texas A&M, also ranked, sitting 20th in the Coaches Poll.
The Aggies bring a league-leading 3.15 ERA to Baum Stadium as A&M and the Hogs begin a three-game series Friday.
“They’ve got two or three top relievers. They kept a left-handed reliever that turned down the draft, a senior. They’re a team that feels like, if they can keep it close, or tied, or have a lead, by the 6th or 7th, they feel pretty good about their chances,” Head Coach Dave Van Horn said.
Game One in the three-game set starts at 6 Friday Night. Game Two is Saturday at 1, a day when Arkansas honors three seniors on the Razorback Roster. The Series Finale starts at Noon on Sunday.
