The Razorbacks entered the SEC Tournament as one of the top five teams in the country, but lost back-to-back games in Hoover after beating Ole Miss Wednesday. At 41-17, where do some of the coaches see Arkansas in the National Conversation?
Arkansas Head Coach Dave Van Horn: “I feel like we are going to be a top eight seed but that is not my decision. I know we are going to host a regional. I hope that what we did throughout the season you know really is what matters I think. You know when you win 20 games, 21 games in the SEC you have got a pretty good shot to be a top 8 seed.”
Ole Miss Head Coach Mike Bianco: “100 percent. Not even close. 100 percent national seed.”
Georgia Head Coach Scott Stricklin: “Oh there is no question. I think they are one of the top 2 teams in the country. One, two or three. Mississippi State, Vanderbilt. UCLA, I am going to put us in that conversation. Arkansas. There is no doubt they are a top eight. That is as good of an offense as there is in the country.”
