Little Rock, AR-

Drew Amman: “Back on the Pig Trail talking with two guys from Pulaski Academy, John David White and Hudson Henry. Guys thanks for joining us and what does it me for you both to play for the Razorbacks?”

Hudson Henry: “It just means everything. I have always wanted to be a Razorback ever since I was little. I mean even when we lived in Georgia we were still Razorback fans. It is just a dream come true to be able to put that Razorback jersey on run through the A coming this fall. I am just excited to be a part of it.”

John David White: “For me it is just kind of a family legacy. Even though I was looking at other schools it was just good to finalize my decision and know that I am going to be a Razorback and running through the A. I am ready to get to work up there. Because my process of choosing my school was a lot longer than Hud’s. So just to be able to finalize it, it is just a weight off my shoulders. So I am very excited.”

Drew Amman: “Alright you two are best friends. What’s it going to be like for both of you to team up in college?”

Hudson Henry: “It is pretty exciting. We are going to be roommates up there next year. That is going to be interesting and fun. We are going to learn a lot about each other. Maybe through some arguments. No I am just kidding. It will be fun. I can’t wait to be his teammate again for four more years.”

John David White: “Yeah it’s going to be fun too. Just to grow that relationship with Hud and get to know other guys. We are going to room with two other guys. So just to grow that bond with Hudson is going to be a lot of fun and I am excited.”

Drew Amman: “Got to talk about the Power Spread, the Chad Morris offense. What is it going to be like playing in that offense?”

Hudson Henry: “Oh yeah for sure. Seeing CJ this year the kind of numbers he put up at the tight end position that is kind of what drew me. It is going to be exciting to see how they utilize the tight ends this year. It will probably be more than last year. So I am just excited to see what is in store for that.”

John David White: “I am very excited. Obviously the coaching staff came from SMU and so I am excited to get to work with coach Stepp, coach Morris and coach Craddock and how they bring the slot into the position. I always watched and looked up to Trey Quinn as coach Stepp had him in his receivers room. So just going back and watching film on him has been a lot of fun. Just to see how they use me as they used Trey.”

Drew Amman: “Alright you both have strong family ties to the University of Arkansas. What is it like to follow in those footsteps?”

Hudson Henry: “Oh man it means everything. It just means a little bit more when you know that you are like a part of yourself is there. You’ve always been there. I think playing for this state means more when you have family members that go up there and play. Just because there is much more expectations on you. I think that is what drives me and probably drives JD to want to be better, to want to be greater whenever we get up there.”

John David White: “It makes you do those extra reps when you are tired because you know you are playing for your family, the state of Arkansas, your coaching staff. You are playing to put Arkansas back on top. So obviously that is are ultimate goal is to put Arkansas back on top. I know with the coaching staff and with the players that are already on the team and the players that are coming in, that are already there, that are coming in next semester are going to be difference makers. So it is going to be fun to see how we develop and where we end up.”

Drew Amman: “John David White on a preferred walk-on to Arkansas, Hudson Henry signing with the Arkansas Razorbacks on Wednesday. Of course Hudson considered one of the top tight ends in the country. We have Otis Kirk talking football recruiting after this.”
