CINCINNATI, Ohio. – The No. 19 Arkansas men’s golf team continued its early-season dominance on Tuesday during the final round of the Bearcat Invitational, finishing runner-up in the field of 12 teams at Coldstream Country Club.

The Razorbacks have a victory and runner-up performance through three tournaments this fall and have a 25-1 combined head-to-head mark during the last two events.

Arkansas used its three lowest scores of the year to finish in second place, posting rounds of 278-273-275 – 826 (-26) to finish just shy of No. 7 Kentucky. The Razorbacks had their lowest tournament score to par since finishing 28-under at the NCAA Columbia Regional during the 2013-14 season.

Eight of his nine rounds this season have been under par and Ortiz has combined to shoot 20-under through three events.

Sophomore Mason Overstreet continued his strong play as well, signing for three more rounds under par and his second consecutive top 10 showing at T-6th overall. He has finished in the top six in four of his last five collegiate events, dating back to his freshman campaign and is a combined 19-under this season.

Sophomore William Buhl recorded his best finish as a Razorback on Tuesday, posting rounds of 70-72-66 – 208 (-5) to finish T-11th overall. He set personal bests for overall finish, score in relation to par and lowest round with a 5-under 66 in the final round.
