Several Arkansas Commitments, Targets still in Playoffs

Several Arkansas commitments as well as in-state targets are still involved in playoff games. 

Among the state championship games are Pulaski Academy and Little Rock Christian on Friday night in War Memorial Stadium. Other state title games are Jenks and Broken Arrow in Oklahoma on Friday night, Phenix City Central and Alabaster Thompson on Wednesday, Dec. 5, in Alabama and then Baton Rouge University Lab against Lafayette St. Thomas More on Friday, Dec. 7, in Louisiana. Bryant and North Little Rock will play on Saturday night in War Memorial Stadium as well. 

Some semifinal games on Friday inside the state are Shiloh Christian hosting Arkadelphia, Rison traveling to Osceola and then Joe T. Robinson hoping to defend the home field against Dumas. The championship games in Arkansas for Classes 2A, 3A and 4A will be Friday, Dec. 7 and Saturday Dec. 8.

Pulaski Academy has tight end Hudson Henry and wide receiver John David White. Little Rock Christian has Justice Hill. Henry has committed to Arkansas while the Hogs are trying to land White as a preferred walk-on. Hill has signed to play basketball at Arkansas and will enroll at midterm.

Bryant has 2020 outside linebacker Catrell Wallace who holds an Arkansas offer. North Little Rock has several prospects being eyed by the Hogs and others including 2020 offensive tackle Erin Smith. 

Jenks has Arkansas offensive line commitment Brady Latham. Broken Arrow has a pair of 2020 offers to Arkansas in offensive lineman Andrew Raym and cornerback Myles Slusher. 

Baton Rouge University Lab has offensive line commitment Dylan Rathcke. Phenix City Central running back A’Montae Spivey has committed to the Hogs as well.

Rison has athlete Malik Chavis who is slated to play cornerback at Arkansas. Joe T. Robinson defensive end Zach Williams is committed to the Hogs and plans to enroll at midterm. Shiloh Christian has offensive lineman Logan Kallesen who has been offered a preferred walk-on spot with the Razorbacks. 

The early signing period for football is Dec. 19-21 while the late one begins on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
