Graduate transfer running back David Williams is adjusting to life in Fayetteville after leaving South Carolina for a spot in the Arkansas backfield.
“I feel like I can bring everything. Me and Devwah are going to push each other. I know he is going to come everyday at practice and bring 100 percent which is going to make me go 100 percent,” Williams says. “I think iron sharpens iron and we are going to get better together.”
Razorback starting running back Devwah Whaley is happy to have Williams with him in the backfield.
“He’s good man. He’s great. He brings a lot of good stuff to the table. With him coming in taking a load off my shoulders is also pretty helpful.”
Fifth year senior quarterback Austin Allen is pleased with the impact Williams is making early in his time as a Hog.
“He’s about as mature as you can get. It’s kind of a business trip for him. He’s here for six months and he’s you know trying to make a name for himself,” Allen said. “The way he has ran the ball this fall camp has been incredible.”
