Temperatures are expected to be about 10 degrees below normal tonight as surface high pressure settles over the region.
The stretch of cooler than normal temperatures will continue late into the week as a re-enforcing cold front will move through the region Tuesday night into Wednesday. The chances of showers
and thunderstorms will ramp up in the vicinity of the boundary late Tuesday Night into Wednesday.
Unsettled weather returns late this week and continues into next week as frontal boundary stalls across the area and a series of upper-level disturbances embedded in the nearly
the zonal flow aloft traverses the Plains.
Once again several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the area Thursday night into next week with 1 to 3 inches of rain across eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas.
