Thunderstorms across western and Central Oklahoma continue to make their way eastward early this morning.
There is some potential those storms could make it into Northwest Arkansas later today so will carry a slight chance for a thunderstorm today and tonight.
However, most of this activity should fade by the evening but will continue to carry slight chances through late evening area wide.
Dry weather still looks to arrive by Thursday, along with warmer temperatures as upper-level ridging begins to build into the region for a few days.
However, the dry spell now looks to be more short-lived than earlier thought.
One big change to the forecast is the increased potential for thunderstorms Friday midday.
This will also lead to cooler temperatures than earlier forecast across parts of Northwest Arkansas, which should see the precipitation and increased cloud cover longer into the afternoon hours.
Any showers and thunderstorms should be out of the area by Friday evening.
Hot and dry weather continues to appear likely for Saturday as we could touch 90 degrees or higher.
It will be humid as well.
