Everyday motivation in a workout. In finding everyday motivation, one thing a person has to really love to do is reps or sets or really anything for things I am grateful for. For instance, let’s say you’re walking down the road or at the gym. You could be grateful for your wife/husband. Then you’re going to go ahead and do 10 reps of lunges for your wife/husband. What about your children? Or parents? Then knock out ten pushups for your daughter/son and maybe on the tenth, do a clap or a push up with a clap.
The great thing about this is you can go all day with finding things that you’re grateful for. If you think about it, you could just do a rep or two for each thing you’re grateful for and before you know it, you have ended up having a great workout and also your whole perspective on the day has changed. So not only do you feel better from working out but you also feel better because you are thinking about things you are grateful for. It is a win win.
So for doing exercises for things you’re grateful for, start with lunges, then sit ups or push ups. The best part about this type of workout is it leaves you with an attitude of gratitude and you will always be one step ahead if you have that.
