Arkansas Congressman Considered for Trump Cabinet Post

(via KARK) — An Arkansas congressman is being considered for a cabinet post in the Trump Administration.

We’ve learned that Rep. Rick Crawford, 50, of Jonesboro, is on the list for U.S. Secretary of Agriculture.

The Republican representative has served the First District since 2011.

According to his bio, Crawford serves on the House Agriculture Committee where he is the Subcommittee Chairman on General Farm Commodities and Risk Management and a member of the Nutrition Subcommittee. Crawford also serves on the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee where he is a member of the subcommittees on Highway and Transit, Water Resources and Environment, and Economic Development.
